The Linguistic Journal's editorial policy defines the procedures and standards followed by the editorial team in handling submitted research, from the moment of receipt until the decision to publish. This policy ensures objectivity, fairness, and adherence to the highest professional standards.

Editorial Responsibility: The journal's editorial board is responsible for making all decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of research submitted for publication, based on the recommendations of the referees, the originality of the research, its scientific significance, and its compliance with the journal's policies.

Confidentiality: The editorial board is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of information related to submitted research, including the identities of authors and reviewers, and the content of the research prior to publication. This information may not be disclosed to any third party except as necessary for the purposes of review.

Integrity and Objectivity: Editorial board members must treat all submitted research with complete integrity and objectivity, without any bias based on the authors' nationality, race, religion, institutional affiliations, or any other personal considerations. Decisions must be based solely on the scientific merit of the research.

Conflict of Interest: Any member of the editorial board must disclose any potential conflict of interest that may arise between them and the authors or submitted research. In the event of a conflict of interest, the editor must recuse themselves from handling the research in question and assign it to another member.
